Book collecting and book reading are two different hobbies but with over 500 books, it's starting to feel out of hand. I've read about 60% of my physical TBR and I want to get through more of them so today we're starting with my poetry collection.

Hey, I'm Rae and welcome to the Children of Diaspora Bindery page! I'm a Haitian-American reader, writer, and educator, born and raised in South Florida. My relationship with online book communities began my freshman year of high school, nearly 10 years ago. Using WordPress, I started the book blog that would eventually become Rae’s Reads and Reviews, a space to post my thoughts on the books I was reading with a focus on amplifying books by marginalized authors. Now I've shifted over to Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube, but my mission still reigns true.
